Retired Air Force veteran, mom of two miracle babies after 40, and firm believer in faith-led healing. I help people uncover the root of their symptoms—so they can reclaim their energy, hormones, and hope. When I’m not podcasting or mentoring, you’ll find me homeschooling, planning retreats, or dancing in the kitchen with my kids.

If you’ve ever felt the weight of fertility timelines, you’re not alone. Society has conditioned us to believe that pregnancy should happen on a schedule. But what if your journey doesn’t fit into that mold? What if you’re doing all the “right” things, yet still waiting for your positive test?
I recently sat down with Beth Gulotta, a therapist and host of the Quiet the Clock podcast, to talk about the emotional toll of fertility timelines, the pressure of societal expectations, and the importance of mindset and advocacy in this process.
eth shared how she never expected to be having these conversations, yet both her personal experience and her work with women in their 30s and 40s led her to realize how deeply ingrained the pressure to conceive by a certain age really is. Women are often told that fertility drops off a cliff at 35, leading to unnecessary anxiety and fear-based decision-making.
But that narrative is outdated.
Fertility is not just about age. It’s about overall health, lifestyle, and the many factors that influence hormonal balance. The rush to fertility treatments without addressing foundational health concerns often leaves women feeling lost, frustrated, and unheard.
One of the biggest gaps in conventional fertility care is a lack of education. Many doctors rely on standard lab tests but fail to dig deeper when things don’t go as planned. Beth’s experience with thyroid health is a prime example—her doctors reassured her that her levels were fine, only for her to later discover major imbalances that were likely impacting her fertility.
This is why advocacy matters.
Your body’s signals should not be dismissed. If something feels off, it’s worth exploring. Whether it’s running a full thyroid panel, improving gut health, or making strategic nutrition changes, taking control of your fertility journey means asking questions and seeking the right support.
Waiting for pregnancy can feel like an emotional rollercoaster. Each month that passes without a positive test can feel like a loss, making it easy to slip into doubt and frustration.
I see this often with my clients. They come to me carrying the weight of expectations, fear, and the pressure of time. But what I’ve learned—both in my own journey and in supporting others—is that mindset plays a powerful role in fertility.
If you believe your body is failing you, that stress alone can create an uphill battle. But when you shift to believing in the possibility of your baby, when you start supporting your body rather than fighting against it, something shifts.
Holistic fertility support isn’t just about diet and supplements. It’s about looking at the full picture—stress, relationships, sleep, blood sugar balance, and overall well-being. It’s about recognizing that the path to pregnancy is not just physical but deeply emotional and spiritual as well.
That’s why I’m passionate about guiding couples through this journey with a focus on whole-body wellness. Because when you build a strong foundation, your fertility naturally improves.
If there’s one message I want you to take from this, it’s this:
Your fertility journey does not have to fit into someone else’s timeline.
Whether you’re navigating post-vasectomy reversal fertility, unexplained delays, or secondary infertility, your story is unfolding exactly as it should. Keep advocating for yourself, stay open to holistic support, and trust that your baby is coming in perfect timing.
