What if the reason you still don’t feel well isn’t because you’re lacking faith…
but because no one ever taught you how to support the body God designed to heal?
That’s the conversation we’re having in this episode.
Because somewhere along the way, many believers were taught how to pray for healing—but not always how to partner with the body, the nervous system, and the physical foundations that support it.
And that disconnect is leaving a lot of people stuck.
There are people sitting in church pews every week who are:
Exhausted.
Anxious.
Burned out.
Depleted.
Barely functioning.
And instead of being supported, they’re often given spiritual language that sounds right… but doesn’t actually help them move forward.
“Just pray about it.”
“Have more faith.”
“Don’t speak that over yourself.”
But what happens when someone is praying—and still feels the same?
At some point, we have to ask a better question.
When you look at how Jesus healed, He didn’t separate the spiritual from the physical, emotional, or relational.
He didn’t rush people.
He didn’t dismiss pain.
He didn’t reduce healing to a single moment.
He restored the whole person.
Spirit.
Mind.
Body.
That matters—because a lot of modern approaches to healing don’t reflect that.
We’ve turned healing into either a miracle moment… or a mindset issue.
But Jesus showed us something far more complete.
One of the biggest gaps in the conversation today is the disconnect between faith and physiology.
Many believers feel hesitant—or even suspicious—of concepts like:
Trauma
Nervous system regulation
Somatic work
Emotional healing
Mineral support
But the body isn’t separate from your spiritual life.
God designed it.
Which means supporting your nervous system, addressing stress, and nourishing your body isn’t a lack of faith—it’s stewardship.
Scripture tells us that life and death are in the power of the tongue.
But what happens when someone is repeatedly told:
“You’ll always struggle with this.”
“This is just your thorn in the flesh.”
“You just need to manage it.”
“Maybe God is using this to keep you humble.”
Those messages don’t just stay external.
They shape identity.
They influence belief.
They impact how someone sees God, their body, and what’s possible for their healing.
There’s a difference between acknowledging what’s real… and agreeing with limitation.
This conversation isn’t about rejecting faith.
It’s about expanding the conversation to include everything God designed.
Your body.
Your nervous system.
Your emotions.
Your environment.
Your rhythms.
Healing isn’t about doing everything perfectly overnight.
It’s about understanding what your body needs—and supporting it step by step.
